Saturday 27 January

Today Di and I went across to Leeds again to spend the weekend with our relatives Linda and Dave. Once again we had another great weekend although it began with a tragedy... Dave's Helicopter broke..... NNNNOOOOOO!!!! Just when i was about to play with it, it died... well needed repairs... we'll leave it at that... There was good news!!! Tommy is out of Hibernation!! YAY! so it was nice to catch up with him... But the highlight of the night was when we all jumped into a taxi and headed into Leeds where we went to the Hard Rock Cafe check it out : http://www.hardrock.com/locations/cafes3/cafes.aspx?LocationID=143&MenuID=15&MIBEnumID=3

As you can see we loved the food. Yum!!!

We had a really great night and managed to embarras Di by telling the staff it was her birthday when really it wasn't for another Month!! But it was nice for them to come over to our table and give her three cheers!!!

Following the meal we headed back to Lindas and Dave's where we spent the night! The next morning we had a delicious cooked breakfast before we headed back to Middlewich, along the way stopping at Robyn and Cheryl's where we watched the movie Twister.

Sunday 21 January

After a very eventful week what with the announcement of Di's pregnancy, this weekend was quiet for us, but on Sunday night we had the best surprise.

Di and I went over to Wilmslow to have a meal with Robyn and Cheryl and to celebrate Moses being 14 weeks old. Check out how Di is starting to show... very slightly...
But while we were sitting in a really nice pub next to an open fire we looked out of the window and to our amazement it was snowing. Not just a light sprinkle of snow but thick soft gentle flakes... It was amazing... by the time we eventually finished our glorious meals we headed back to Robyn and Cheryl's place... slipping and sliding on the white blanket, but managing to have a great snowball fight in the carpark of the pub...

When we got back to Robyn and Cheryl's place we decided to build snowman, there was so much snow we were able to make it quite large.. Di and Robyn worked on the head, I made the base and Cheryl organised the snowmans outfit. It was great... We just hope we get a lot more snow before we leave... Don't you wish you were here with us... it's so much fun!!

New Years Eve in London

Today, after a terrific week in Scotland, Di and I headed down to London to meet up with Robyn and Cheryl for New Years Eve! It was a great day and we spent the whole day touring around London. We went to the British Museum and saw the other part of the Egyptian exhibits which we heard about in Egypt. It was a really great day. After a long day of walking and site seeing we decided to eat at this really great English pub where we met a really nice New Yorker Couple who joined us for dinner. We chatted about NY and everything and then at about 8:30pm we decided to make a move.
Of course the evening ended with a terrific fireworks display focusing on Westminster and the London Eye... It was well worth the three and a half hour wait, standing on the Waterloo Bridge, getting the best view in London.

Monday 25 December - Christmas Day

This morning we woke early and the two best chefs in the world Peter and Paul were up early to cook up a storm! Bacon, Eggs, Muchrooms, Beans, Tomatos, and Toast!! What a feast.. Check out this clip of them hard at work.

After a terrific breakfast we all gathered around the Christmas tree for presents!! Santa was very generous this year and we all got a nice lot of goodies!

Following breakfast Robyn, Di and Cheryl hit the kitchen to start their preparation of Christmas Dinner, while Uncle Paul, Aunty Chris and I headed off around the Cameron House estate to relax.

We even managed to get a game of Snooker in before we headed back to the girls who were hard at work preparing one of the best Christmas lunches ever! We had everything you could think of to make this lunch amazing, but one of the highlights of dinner had to be the Christmas pudding! It was a flaming special... which nearly got out of hand.

After a great lunch we all crashed and slept for a little while... the spent the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying each others company. We also got chance to watch a DVD of Amaya that Mark and Catherine sent us.

Sunday 24 December - Christmas Eve

For Christmas this year Uncle Paul, Aunty Chris, Robyn, Cheryl, Di and I all headed up to Loch Lomond in Scotland to spend Christmas together at Cameron House.

But today being Christmas Eve we spent it relaxing with each other and having a great time enjoying the facilities of Cameron House. Click here to see how great Cameron house is: http://www.devere.co.uk/Hotels/Cameron/default.aspx?EQID=01190184-9999999&gclid=CPq9qtHtzIkCFRLKEAodvwmpMA

We played squash, swam in the pool and relaxed at home.

In the Evening Robyn, Cheryl, Di and I headed over to Edinburgh to go Ice Skating at the base of the Edinburgh Castle, however it was so foggy we couldn' see the castle, however it only made the atmosphere in Edinburgh that much more magical.

Check out this clip of us Skating...
