Today, after a terrific week in Scotland, Di and I headed down to London to meet up with Robyn and Cheryl for New Years Eve! It was a great day and we spent the whole day touring around London. We went to the British Museum and saw the other part of the Egyptian exhibits which we heard about in Egypt. It was a really great day. 
After a long day of walking and site seeing we decided to eat at this really great English pub where we met a really nice New Yorker Couple who joined us for dinner. We chatted about NY and everything and then at about 8:30pm we decided to make a move.
Of course the evening ended with a terrific fireworks display focusing on Westminster and the London Eye... It was well worth the three and a half hour wait, standing on the Waterloo Bridge, getting the best view in London.
