Today was great, after a late start Kevin took us down to the "Beach" next to Lake Ontario where we had a nice picnic... yum... it's such a nice place.
From here we headed down to the Bay area of Toronto, which they have just recently renovated, so we took time to walk around the bay and check it out... it's about 24 degrees today so it's really pleasant.
Then from here we stopped off at Degrassi Street and after a bit of web research we discovered a few filming locations from the hit 80's TV Show.
Do you remember the scene when Yick from Degrassi Jr. High calls the Sex eith Dr Sally show to ask a question on behalf of his friend Arthur? Well we found out that there is a Parkette on the northeast corner of Degrassi St and Cummings. There was once a phone booth here where this sene took place.
There is also a Bar and Grill on 932 Queen Street East.This bar was once called 13 Busy and then changed names to The Pug and The Pontiff. This is the restaurant where Degrassi Junior High kids hung out and where Caitlin poured a Coke on Joey's head after she found out that, on a bet, heasked her out on a date.
We also discovered that the Centre for Creative Communications, part of Centennial College, on 951 Carlaw, north of Danforth and on the corner of Carlaw and Mortimer. This was the building used for Degrassi High.

Following our Degrassi trip we headed into Toronto for Dinner, a delicious Burger at Hero Burger... yum... then from here we checked out the shops... On the way home Kevin said he'd like to be on You Tube.. so here he is.
