We were soon in Chicago and arrived at the Sheraton Suites not far from the airport. We got a really good deal on Hotwire.com in fact we got 47% off, and it was close to the airport and we get free shuttle transfers... yay!! It's a really great place and close to a train line. A 24 hour pass, which is all we need only costs us $5 US each... cool... so we got a really great deal. Check it out
When we arrived we relaxed and hit the pool and spa, before heading downtown on the Blue Line train to Grand St, where we caught the bus across to Navy Pier. Navy Pier which is the local entertainment district, including restaurants, amusements and exhibitions. They had some interesting water fountains. We had lunch here then headed into town to call our mums for Mothers Day and get some groceries for breakfast tomorrow. Before heading into the central CBD to visit Borders book store and a few other shops... Di loves it..
