Friday 28 July

This morning we left kerrysdale and commenced our journey around the top end of Scotland.

We headed up to Ullapool, then from there we went to Durness and spent some time looking around one of the most northerly towns in Scotland. Durness even has some amazing beaches, this beach won an award as it is so amazing... for the UK...

We also found in Durness the Smoo cave, a cave which comes off the beach where smugglers and witches used to live in. We had a look at that which was quite amazing.

From there we headed acrosssome of Scotlands most beautiful scenery towards Tongue... a beautiful quaint town which was amazing. From Tongue we headed towards Dunnet. At Dunnet we drove to the most Northerly point of Scotland called Dunnet Head... it was the pinnacle of our trip in a sense we'd Dunnet'.

We continued our drive towards John O' Groats then decided to head for Inverness. by this time we had been driving for 7 hours. So we drove down the East coast towards Inverness and stopped off in Tain for fish and chips yumm... We finally got to Inverness about 8 pm, then we set up camp on the banks of Loch Ness. 10 hours driving.... ready for sleep.
