This morning we drove around the southern point of Lochness to Fort Augustus, here they have a heap of Lochs which fall into Loch ness. it was here we tried our first full
Scottish breakfast, including Black Pudding... mmmmm... we're not fans of Black Pudding.. but the rest of the breakfast was really nice. From here we got on a boat to see if we could see the loch ness monster.. we got to see it... it was amazing.. no it wasn't Di. the crew of the boats put little stickers on the windows so if you take a photo
through the window and line up the
water well you get a great fake photo... it was an amazing cruise as they told us there had been hundreds of unrecognised huge massed readings recorded from their sonar, but they couldn't say whether they were just abnormally large eels or a Monster.. Is it alive... after being there you can't decide...
From this cruise Di and i decided to walkoff our breakfast and head up the side of one of the Lochs mountains between Fort Augustus and Ivermoriston... what a view from the top. If you haven't been to Scotland come it's amazing.
We snuk into a camp site just past Invermoristan to sneak a quick shower and refresh ourselves.... ahhh... bush camping is awesome.. we always have little adventures when it comes to cleanliness.

From here we headed up the west bank towards Drumndrochit where we went to an amazing castle on the bank of the Loch, Urquhart Castle. it's so old it had wall graffitti(names etched onto walls) from the 1700's... it was built around 1200.. how amazing.
From here we headed back to our camp site which was directly on the other side of the loch to where the castle was and set up tent and hit the sack.
